Past Years

• Garden Program - Guerneville School has a highly renowned garden program.  Students TK-8 are involved in the entire lifecycle of the garden from seed to table with this comprehensive multi-year curriculum that focuses on many different crops, nutrition, and cooking.

• Music Program - an age-appropriate music, band, and choir program available to all students at Guerneville school K-8.  This program seeks to expose all students to the love of music. It is varied by age group, ensuring engagement at all levels. 

• Ballet Folklorico - and extra-curricular dance program available to all students TK-8.

• Other educational opportunities - we work closely with the district to identify additional funding needs on an ongoing basis such as the 5th-grade Outdoor Ed and 8th-grade trip to Sacramento.

• 5th Grade Outdoor Ed - donation towards and overnight outdoor education field trip.

• Classroom Supplies - donations to each teacher for their classroom supply funds.

• Fitness and Health- Zumba classes and active recess program for the students. 

• 8th Grade Graduation Activities – donation to graduation night and activities.

• Summer program - funding for scholarships & supplies.

• Art Programs - taught by a professional artist, for 1st  – 8th grade students.

• New Uniforms for Sports programs - donation to purchase new Volleyball and Basketball uniforms.

• Technology - new MAC computer lab for all students and robotics for middle school. 

• Band Instruments - donation for our new band director to buy instruments for the children.
